What does Paul say about hope?
Apostle Paul beautiful summarizes what hope means in Romans 8:24 – “For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.“

What does the Bible say about finding hope?
In the book of James, we read this: “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials” (James 1:2). The Dictionary defines a trial as a test or a period of difficulty.
When we find ourselves going through tough times, we can keep that in mind and remember that God is testing us to see whether we will remain faithful to Him.
And the Bible tells us that God is pleased when we are faithful, even through difficult times. We can have hope in knowing that whatever happens, He knows what He’s doing so it must be for our good!
What does the Bible say about hope in hard times?
Romans 5:2-5: “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.“
What Scripture talks about not giving up Hope?
James 4:8-10 reads, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.“
What is God’s hope for us?
The Bible teaches that God’s hope for us is to be like Jesus Christ. His wish for us is to become like Him and for us to do His will. And he has promised it will come true if you seek after it with all your heart (2 Chronicles 15:2).
What gives you hope during tough times?
The word of the Lord gives me hope during tough times. One of my absolute favorite passage for hope is Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear?“
The Lord is my light: In all situations I have a light to guide me in the darkness. The Lord is my salvation: No matter what happens I know He has my back and will fight for me. Whom shall I fear? No one! I am protected by the Lord and I know it.
What does Psalms 121 say?
