The first lesson that we can learn from the Pharisees is that we need to bear fruits worthy of repentance. Just as the Pharisees were strict in their adherence to the Jewish Law, we too need to be strict in our adherence to God’s Word. We need to make sure that our lives are bearing fruit that is worthy of repentance.
