This is telling us that God's desire is for us to live in peace with one another. He does not want us to fight and kill one another.

War In Heaven

The bible also tells us about a war that took place in heaven. In the book of Revelation, it says, "There was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven."

Satan and his angels were cast out of heaven because of their war against God. This is why we need to be careful about getting involved in wars. We need to make sure that we are fighting for the right reasons, and not for our own selfish desires.

No More Wars

The bible also tells us that there will be a time when there will be no more war. In the book of Revelation, it says, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

This is telling us that there will be a time when there will be no more war as part of God's end-time plan for those who believe in him and this is something we all should be looking forward to.

War Against Sin

We fight a spiritual battle every day against sin. We know that our flesh wages war against our spirit, and we need to be on guard against this. In the book of Ephesians, it says, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

This is telling us that our real battle is not against other people but against the spiritual forces of evil. We need to be on constant guard against all spiritual forces of evil through prayer.
