I took it upon myself to spend time and seek the Lord for spiritual guidance on how we can both battle this warfare.
You know what the Lord said to me, read 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NIV) – “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
Spiritual Warfare Prayers For Your Spouse
So rather than focusing my prayers on constant spiritual binding, or praying for hours upon hours and most times keep repeating the same prayer after running out of words, I decided to focus on very short, simple and sincere prayers the reaches God’s throne.
Remember that spiritual warfare is real and that the enemy’s plan right from the first day is to steal, kill and destroy.
Over the next couple of weeks, I pondered on these words and came to realize that truly the battles we face is not ours to fight, but all spiritual warfare we may have faced at some point in our life’s or facing now belongs to God.
He already won the battles and given us victory through the death and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ.
I pray that as you pray these prayers, that the Lord God Almighty will come to our rescue and give us victory, In Jesus Name – and the people of God says – Amen.
Here are a few powerful prayers to help you wage war against the enemy and stand firm in your faith.

I dress him in the full armor of God, so that he might withstand every fiery dart of the adversary and that nothing that is not of You will penetrate him. Lord, I pray that he will stand firm in the Name of Jesus and will never faint but will raise up like an eagle; this is the prayer of my heart, Amen.
Philippians 4:13 Prayer
Father, I thank You that You are an omniscient and omnipresent God. Lord, You know the warfare that my husband faces and I come against it in the Name of Jesus, as it has no power over him. Therefore, I pray today that You will strengthen him and that he will be delivered from all affliction; this is the prayer of my heart, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I pray that You will hide him in the secret place of Your tabernacle. I pray that he will dwell under the shelter of your mighty arm, where he shall be safe. What are the 7 steps to an effective prayer?
1. Pray in spirit and truth
It is important to pray in the right frame of mind, with a pure heart and good intentions. This type of prayer is pleasing to God and will certainly result in answered prayer.
2. Be humble
When we come before God in prayer, it is important to remember that He is the Almighty creator and sustainer of the universe. We are His children, made in His image, but we are still finite beings. As such, it is crucial that we approach God with humility, acknowledging His power and goodness.
3. Ask in faith
In order for our prayers to be effective, we must have faith that God is able and willing to answer them. This doesn’t mean that we will always get what we want, but we can trust that God will always do what is best.
4. Seek God’s kingdom first
When we make God’s kingdom our priority, everything else falls into place. This doesn’t mean that our earthly needs will disappear, but it does mean that God will provide for us in ways we never could have imagined.
5. Pray earnestly without ceasing
There is no set formula for effective prayer, but one thing that is certain is that we need to keep at it. Prayer is a conversation with God, and like any conversation, it takes time and effort to build a strong relationship.
6. Be patient
Prayer is not a magic bullet that instantly fixes all our problems. Sometimes we have to wait for God to work in His own time and in His own way. This can be difficult for those who have not fully matured in faith, but it is important to remember that God always keeps His promises.
7. Give thanks
No matter what the outcome of our prayers, we should always give thanks to God. He is a good father who loves us and wants what is best for us. Even when things don’t go the way we want, we can be confident that God is still in control and His plan will ultimately prevail.
