Yes it's perfectly OK to take communion at home. I believe that communion should be taken at home as a reminder of the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for us.

However, there is no biblical prohibition against taking communion at home.

I believe that taking communion at home is a personal decision and should be done with prayer and reflection.
