What does 1 Corinthians 15:52 mean?
This verse is saying that in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet blast, the dead will be raised to life and we will be changed.
In 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, Paul is talking about the future resurrection of believers. He says that when Jesus shall return to earth, the dead in Christ will rise first, and then those who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.
This event is often called the "rapture" of the church. The word "rapture" simply means "to be caught up." It will be a time of great joy for all believers!

The dead shall be raised incorruptible

The word "incorruptible" means "undecayed, not subject to decay." In other words, those who have died in Christ will be raised with perfect, glorified bodies that will never grow old or die.
This is in contrast to our current bodies, which are subject to decay and death. But thanks be to God, we have the hope of a better resurrection!
We shall be changed
Not only will the dead in Christ be raised, but those who are alive and remain will also be changed.
What does it mean to be changed?
The word "changed" here comes from the Greek word metamorphoo, which is where we get our English word "metamorphosis." It means to be transformed or changed into something else.
So when Paul says we will be changed, he means that we will be transformed into glorified, immortal beings, just like Christ.
This change will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet blast. Are you ready for it?
10 ways to prepare for Jesus' return
1) Read and study the Bible regularly. This is how we know what Jesus taught and what His will is for our lives.
2) Pray daily. This is how we communicate with God and ask Him to guide us.
3) Live a life of obedience. As we obey God's commands, we show that we love Him and want to please Him.
4) Tell others about Jesus. We should be sharing the good news of salvation with those who are lost and don't know Him.
5) Be patient and wait for His return. Jesus told us to "occupy until I come" (Luke 19:13). This means we should live our lives in such a way that we are ready for His return at any moment.
6) Be prepared to suffer. Jesus warned us that we will have tribulation in this world (John 16:33). But He also promised to be with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
7) Don't love the things of this world. Our true home is in heaven, and we should not be too attached to things here on earth (Colossians 3:2).
8) Be on guard against false teachers. There will be many false prophets who will try to lead people astray (Matthew 24:11). We need to be careful that we don't follow them.
9) Stay away from sin. We need to flee from anything that would lead us into temptation and away from God (1 Corinthians 6:18).
10) Be ready to give an answer. People will ask us why we believe what we believe (1 Peter 3:15). We should be prepared to give them a clear and concise answer.

After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.
