The Book of Kings tells the story of the many Kings that came after David, and none of these kings lived in accordance with God’s instruction.
The first book of Kings tells us that David’s kingdom continued to prosper and expanded under his rule. He conquered many neighbouring kingdoms and made them vassal states. He also built a great palace in Jerusalem and gathered a large harem of wives and concubines.
The second book of Kings tells us that David’s son Solomon succeeded him as king. Solomon continued to expand the kingdom and built a magnificent temple in Jerusalem.
However, towards the end of his reign, he became increasingly wicked and turned away from God by adopting the gods of his numerous wives and concubines.
In this fun Kings Bible Quiz Questions and Answers, we have put together 40 quiz questions to test your knowledge of the books of 1&2 kings.
